La Pocquita - Unusual & ecological cabin in Salles-Mongiscard
We built our cabin in the heart of a rural landscape on a former cow pasture. Built on stilts and entirely from regional wood, its shape is round and slender, and its curved interior provides a feeling of well-being.
The sloping land runs alongside a path where a few cars and farm machinery pass. A hedge of hornbeams and fruit trees surround it, and raspberry bushes line the driveway.
La Pocquita Cabin is both a refuge and an ecological and unusual habitat. Here, you feel sheltered and protected from the hustle and bustle of the outdoors. It's a time to escape your modern habits and take a break.
Facing you, on a large terrace, you can enjoy a vibrant and soothing scene. You can see fields, tall trees, and below, our donkeys and sheep. We hear the birds singing, the wind blowing in the trees and sometimes the frogs in the pond.
